- Prepare the installation area
Ensure the installation area is clean and free of moisture. Verify that the UPS will be installed in an environment with a temperature between 0°C and 40°C and humidity between 20% and 90% RH.
- Mount the UPS unit
Install the URMKIT2 rail kit by securing the front side of the rail kit with 3x Phillips Pan Head M5 screws on each rail. Adjust the rail size according to the depth of the rack, then secure the rear side of the rail kit with 3x Phillips Pan Head M5 screws on each rail.
- Install the UPS into the rack
Slide the UPS unit into the rack on the rail kit. Align the mounting brackets with the screw holes on the rack and secure the UPS with the supplied 4x Phillips Hex Head M5 screws.
- Connect the internal battery cartridge
Remove the faceplate of the UPS by pressing both sides until the latches release. Connect the internal battery cartridge connector firmly to ensure a proper connection, then reinstall the faceplate.
- Perform electrical connections
Connect the UPS system to an earth-grounded outlet. Ensure that all units in the UPS system are properly grounded before applying power.
- Power on the UPS
Press and hold the OFF/Cancel button or disable the inverter from the touch screen to power on the UPS. Verify that the internal battery pack is fully charged for optimal performance.
