Modular plug, Cable (Category 6A UTP), Strain relief boot, Strain relief collar, Load bar, Divider
- Prepare the cable
Thread the strain relief boot and collar onto the cable. Remove 2.5" - 3.0" of the outer jacket from the cable end using a wire stripping tool.
- Fan the twisted pairs
Remove the matrix foil to expose the twisted pairs. Fan the twisted pairs into respective quadrants, ensuring the brown pair is opposite the orange pair.
- Insert the divider
Insert the divider posts into the cable, aligning the 'V' channel with the green pair. If the cable has an internal spline, insert the posts into the brown and orange quadrants.
- Arrange conductors
Arrange the conductors according to the T568B wiring scheme while minimizing untwist. Seat the conductors into the proper divider slots while holding the divider near the end of the cable jacket.
- Insert the load bar
Guide the conductors into the load bar holes while holding the conductors in the divider. Slide the load bar towards the divider until flush, ensuring it is centered and perpendicular to the cable axis.
- Complete the assembly
Grip and squeeze across the collar arms as the sub-assembly is inserted into the plug housing. Push the sub-assembly into the housing until the collar locking tabs clear the plug housing pocket.

Visually check the plug assembly. Slide the boot forward and fully seat it onto the strain relief collar. Ensure there is no gap between the collar and divider.
