The kit includes front and rear doors with keyed multi-point vault-style latch systems and central key locks for security, along with a fully gasketed solid rear door to direct hot exhaust into a chimney, preventing air mixing. The front door features aluminum extrusions and perforated steel with over 60% open space for unrestricted cold airflow to equipment, while the rear door is fully gasketed to ensure all hot exhaust is captured. The top sliding gland plate accommodates cables, cable bundles, and pre-terminated patch panels, with an exhaust air deflector routing airflow to avoid hot spots. The cabinet supports under-floor cable entry and can be used on both raised and non-raised floors, increasing thermal loads and server densities. Finished in RAL 9005 black textured polyester powder paint, the AR4P-AC-KIT has a static load rating of 2500 lb (1134 kg) and is ideal for high-density data center environments requiring reliable thermal management and energy efficiency.

Ratchet with M8, M10 & M17 socket, Screwdriver

Supplies needed:

M5 flange nuts, M6 screws, M10 carriage bolts, Button plugs, Self-drilling screws

  1. Assemble the End Panels

    Slide the top channel of the end panel into the bottom channel and secure with (2) M6 screws. Attach the assembled end panel to the mounting brackets using (1) M6 screw per bracket.

  2. Install the Top Panel

    Align the holes of the top panel with the rack's top angle bracket and secure it in place using M8 nuts and bolts.

  3. Install the Bottom Panel

    Align the bottom panel with the designated holes and install (4) #6 self-drilling screws. Do not tighten yet. Move the bottom panel to the up-most forward position and then tighten the screws.

  4. Install the Vertical Cable Manager

    Position the vertical cable manager in the desired orientation and secure it using (3) M10 serrated flange bolts and (3) M10 serrated flange nuts.

  5. Install the VCM Top Cap

    Position the VCM top cap with the brush entry facing the desired direction. Align the threaded studs with the holes and secure with M5 flange nuts. Use a 5/16" screw to secure the front of the VCM top cap.

  6. Plug Unused Holes

    Plug any unused depth adjustment holes with button plugs to ensure a clean installation.
