- Disconnect the air source
Disconnect the air hose from the air source and verify that the tool does not actuate.
- Remove the existing blade
Hold the tool with the nose pointing upward. Remove the existing screw (2) and carefully take off the blade guard (A). Lift out the existing blade (1) and discard it.
- Install the new blade
While holding the tool with the nose pointing upward, place the new blade into position, ensuring the sharp edge of the blade (1) faces toward the blade guard (A).
- Reattach the blade guard
Place the blade guard (A) back into position. Apply Removable Threadlocker (B) to the new screw (2) and fasten the blade guard (A) securely.
