Ratchet with M8, M10 & M17 socket, Screwdriver
Supplies needed:
M5 flange nuts, M10 serrated flange bolts, M10 serrated flange nuts, M6 screws, Push-in rivets, Mounting brackets
- Install the Mounting Brackets
Attach (3) mounting brackets onto the vertical channel of the 4-post rack using (2) M6 screws per bracket. Ensure they are evenly spaced and securely fastened.
- Assemble the End Panel Channel
Slide the top channel into the bottom channel of the end panel and secure with (2) M6 screws. This will create a sturdy structure for the cable manager.
- Secure the Vertical Cable Manager
Position the vertical cable manager in the proper orientation and secure it using (3) M10 serrated flange bolts and (3) M10 serrated flange nuts. Ensure it is firmly attached to the rack.
- Install the VCM Top Cap
Position the VCM Top Cap over the vertical cable manager and secure it to the front using a 5/16" screw. Attach the rear closing clip to the rack using an M10 bolt and nut.
- Route Cables Through the Top Cap
Remove (2) M5 screws from the top of the VCM Top Cap and the M10 nuts and bolts from the rack. Route the cables through the brush entry and reassemble the top cap using the original hardware.
- Seal Air Gaps
Apply adhesive-backed foam strips to all areas on the rack where air can pass through to ensure proper sealing and efficiency.
