Ratchet with M8, M10 & M17 socket, Screwdriver
Supplies needed:
M5 flange nuts, M10 carriage bolts, M6 screws, Push-in rivets, Button plugs
- Prepare the rack
Ensure the 4-post rack is clean and free of obstructions. Identify the mounting locations for the Vertical Cable Manager.
- Install the Vertical Cable Manager
Place the Vertical Cable Manager in the proper orientation and secure it using (3) M10 serrated flange bolts and (3) M10 serrated flange nuts. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Attach Backbone Panels
Position the Backbone panels on both sides of the manager and secure them using (2) provided push-in rivets per side. Install Backbone panels in all openings.
- Install the VCM Top Cap
Position the VCM Top Cap with the desired brush entry orientation and secure it to the front of the VCM using a 5/16" screw. Attach the rear closing clip to the rear channel of the rack with an M10 bolt and nut.
- Final checks
Verify all connections and ensure that all screws and nuts are tightened securely. Check for any loose components before proceeding.
