- Prepare the splice tray
Remove the splice tray from the packaging and ensure all components are present, including splice holders and clear covers.
- Route the fiber
Insert the fiber into the splice tray from one of the four corners, ensuring it is covered with protective transport tubing. Use the recommended PANDUIT SE25PSC-TR0 braided sleeving for protection.
- Secure the fiber
Place grommets over the fiber ribbons and secure them with splice protectors in every other groove of the splice holder. Use cable ties to secure the fiber to the splice tray, ensuring the bend radius is maximized.
- Apply heat shrink tubing
Cut 2-inch sections of heat shrink tubing and place them over the grommet and transport tubing. Use a heat gun to shrink the tubing, securing the transport tubing to the grommet.
