How to Install the FPONE4 Fiber PON Enclosure
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the FPONE4 Fiber PON Enclosure, including mounting, wiring, and initial setup.

Screwdriver, Drill, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Expansion hardware, Drop cables, Pigtails, Splitters, Splice sleeves
- Mount the enclosure
Use a drill to create holes as needed and install expansion hardware. Secure the enclosure to the wall using the provided mounting screws.
- Route the drop cables
Insert the drop cables through the attachment hardware located at the bottom right of the enclosure. Route the cables around the base and into the front of the flip tray.
- Connect the pigtails
Attach the connectorized ends of the pigtails into the corresponding adapters in the adapter storage. Ensure that the adapter numbers match the cable numbers.
- Install the splitter
If using a connectorized splitter, attach the connectors to the adapters in the adapter storage. Then, secure the splitter to the rear of the flip tray.
- Prepare the outside plant cable
Route the outside plant cable into the bottom left corner of the enclosure and secure it inside the bracket. Strip 38 inches of the unit tube and route it to the fiber storage.
- Perform the fusion splice
Strip 18 inches of fiber from the unit tube for splicing. Complete the fusion splice and cover it with a splice sleeve. Store the splice sleeve in the splice storage and route the fiber slack around the fiber storage.
