- Remove the adapter from packaging
Carefully take the FLEX-OPTI-1RU out of its carton and bag. Ensure you have both the rear insert and front insert components.
- Separate the rear insert from the front insert
Press down on the thumb latch and slide the rear insert away from the front insert until they are fully separated.
- Install the front insert into the patch panel
Slide the front insert into the patch panel opening from the front, ensuring the plungers are in the 'unlocked' position. Once in place, press the plungers into the 'locked' position.
- Attach the rear insert to the front insert
Slide the rear insert onto the front insert until you hear an audible 'click' indicating the thumb latch has engaged with the square cutout.
- Install HD Flex cassettes into the FLEX-OPTI-1RU
Insert the first HD Flex cassette into the lower position of the FLEX-OPTI-1RU, ensuring the cassette fins are seated in the front slots and the ears are in the rear insert windows. Repeat for the second cassette in the upper position.
