Phillips head screwdriver, Wire strippers
Supplies needed:
#10-32 X 1/4” screws, Cable ties, Fiber caution label, Laser warning label
- Remove the shipping bracket
Unscrew the Phillips head screws on the top and bottom of the enclosure to remove the shipping bracket.
- Mount the enclosure
Secure the enclosure to the rack using a minimum of four #10-32 X 1/4” screws. Ensure the enclosure is level and firmly attached.
- Install the fiber caution and laser warning labels
Apply the fiber caution label and laser warning label to the designated areas on the enclosure to ensure safety compliance.
- Install patch cords and cabling
Route the patch cords into the front of the cassettes from left to right, starting with the bottom tray. Secure cables with Tak-ty to prevent snagging.
- Label the enclosure and trays
