- Measure and Prepare for Installation
Measure the distance from the face of the column to the end of the wall beam to determine the correct installation points for the Mid-Span Post and Threaded Rod.
- Install Mid-Span Post
Install the Mid-Span Post according to the measured distance, ensuring that the studs pass through the appropriate holes based on the column's proximity to the wall beam.
- Secure Wall Beam Extension
Position the Wall Beam Extension over the end of the Wall Beam, ensuring it is flush, then lower the Wall Beam and Extension onto the Mid-Span Post and tighten the M6 Serrated Hex Nuts to secure.
- Install Aisle Beam Support
Hand tighten the nut on the Aisle Beam Support to allow for adjustment, ensuring it aligns properly with the Aisle Beam.
- Install Aisle Beam
Lower the Aisle Beam onto the Wall Beam or Aisle Beam Supports, ensuring it is properly aligned and secure.
- Cut and Install Roofing Panel
Cut the ceiling panel around the building column using a sharp razor to avoid shards, then secure the cut panel according to the UAC instruction sheet.
- Seal Gaps with Blanking Strips
Install Blanking Foam Strips to seal any gaps created when cutting roof panels and beams around the column, ensuring a tight fit.
