This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Vertical Blanking Panel (S7VBPNE) in a network cabinet, ensuring proper sealing and alignment.

T25 Torx bit, Utility Knife

Supplies needed:

M5 Torx screws, Flap seals, D-shaped rubber seals, Bulb seals, Foam seals

  1. Install Upper Blanking Panels

    Install flap seals on the top edges of the Upper Blanking Panels. Secure the Left-side and Right-side Upper Blanking Panels to the backside of the front adjustable Equipment Rails using [2] M5 Torx screws for each panel.

  2. Install Lower Blanking Panels

    Install the Left-side and Right-side Lower Blanking Panels, ensuring that they overlap the Upper Panels. Use [10] M5 Torx screws to secure them in place.

  3. Attach Horizontal Blanking Panels

    Install flap seals onto the edges of the Top and Bottom Horizontal Blanking Panels. Insert [3] M5 Torx screws into each Horizontal Blanking Panel to secure them.

  4. Install Top Blanking Panel

    Adjust the width of the Top Blanking Panel and apply an adhesive seal to the top edge. Loosen [3] screws on the front face of the Horizontal Blanking Panel, position the Top Blanking Panel over the screws, and slide it downward. Tighten the screws once the panel is in place.

  5. Install Side and Floor Seals

    Attach 3/8” Bulb Seals to the vertical edges of the Blanking Panels. Align the front face of the Horizontal Blanking Panel with the Equipment Rails and install it to the lower front to back beams using [2] M5 Torx screws. Attach D-shaped Rubber Seals and Foam Seals to the appropriate locations.
