The recommended wire strip length is 1/4 inch for both 22-18 AWG and 16-14 AWG wires.

The controlled cycle mechanism prevents the tool from opening before the crimp cycle is completed, ensuring proper crimping.

The crimp pockets are color-coded: Red for 22-18 AWG and Blue for 16-14 AWG Disco-Lok Disconnects.
