Overview

The NSI Industries 596-DCI2 is a 1/2" PVC jacketed MC/TECK cable connector designed for secure and reliable cable termination. This connector is constructed with steel for durability, suitable for 3/8" and 1/2" sizes as per catalog specifications. It features a unique saddle design that firmly secures the cable, exceeding listing agency requirements for holding power and ensuring high-quality bonding. The removable bushing design accommodates a wide range of cable diameters, reducing inventory needs. This connector is compatible with both smooth and corrugated aluminum-sheathed and steel MC cable. Installation is simplified with a single screw for quick securing. The insulated throat protects conductors and prevents wire pulling effort, while also safeguarding threads during handling. The locknut is engineered to securely fasten the connector to a box or enclosure, preventing vibration loosening. U.L. Listed as a grounding means for steel MC cable and ALS for dry locations (U.L. File No. E 36017, CSA File No. 589). Ideal for parking decks/lot cable or Teck cable to box or enclosure applications. SKU: 596-DCI2.
