Overview

The Mersen DFC-12 is a dead-front fuse cover designed for Class J fuses, rated for 600VAC and 200A. This cover snaps onto individual fuses installed in fuse blocks, effectively covering exposed live clips and terminals. Its primary function is to enhance personnel safety by reducing the risk of accidental contact with live components. The DFC-12 is reusable; simply detach it from an open fuse and reattach it to a new replacement fuse. Optional indicator models are available, featuring an orange light that illuminates to signal an open fuse. The ends of the DFC fuse covers can be easily modified by cutting to accommodate existing wiring, safety switches, or specialized installations. Each DFC fuse cover includes a blank label for writing circuit or fuse information, aiding in organization and maintenance. Manufactured by Mersen in the US.
