Overview

The CompleTech CA85C4 is an offset pattern collinear antenna designed for reliable communication in the 83-88 MHz frequency range. This antenna features a 11 dBi gain, providing strong signal transmission and reception capabilities. Its vertical polarization ensures optimal signal orientation for specific applications. The CA85C4 is constructed with a durable copper radiator and a UV-resistant ABS/FG radome filled with PU foam, offering excellent resistance to environmental factors. It is rated IP67 for proof construction, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. The antenna is equipped with N-female / TNC-female connectors for secure and stable connections. Mounting is facilitated by an aluminium alloy bracket with stainless steel V-bolts and self-locking nuts, compatible with poles of 35-60 mm diameter. The VSWR is less than 1.5, indicating efficient power transfer. The antenna's feed point is DC-short-circuited for lightning protection. Operating within a temperature range of -40ºC to +80ºC, the CA85C4 is suitable for demanding industrial environments. Additional features include integrated impedance compensation and an integrated RF choke. The H -3 dB beamwidth is 182º, and the E -3 dB beamwidth is 13º, with a Front-to-Back ratio of 4-10 dB depending on mounting. The CompleTech CA85C4 is an ideal choice for applications requiring dependable wireless communication in the specified frequency band, offering a combination of durability, light weight, and low wind load.
