This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the M2D1210M-2 Controller, ensuring proper wiring and initial setup.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Ty-Rap cable ties
- Mount the controller
Secure the M2D1210M-2 controller to the DIN rail using the integrated clips. Ensure the controller is level and firmly attached.
- Strip and connect wires
Strip the ends of the wires according to the required lengths specified in Table III. Attach the wires to the appropriate male and female motor disconnects.
- Crimp connectors
Use a T&B® installing tool to crimp the connectors securely. Ensure that the crimping tool is appropriate for the wire sizes being used.
- Insert male pin into female barrel
Push the male pin into the female barrel until fully inserted, creating a secure pigtail connection.
- Install boot/insulator
Slide the boot/insulator onto the pigtail connectors until it stops. This will protect the connection from environmental factors.
- Secure the boot with cable ties
Fasten the first Ty-Rap cable tie at the middle of the boot/insulator and tighten it snugly. Fasten the second tie 1/4 inch from the end of the boot/insulator and cut any excess tie flush with the head.
- Dress lead assemblies
Carefully dress the lead assemblies into the junction box, ensuring that all connections are secure and properly insulated.
