The kit contains three K655BLR Basic Elbows, two K650BIP Basic Insulating Plugs, two K651CP Connecting Plugs, three 650SA Studs, eleven tubes of lubricant 82-08, and three installation instructions (IS-0230, IS-0249, IS-0915).

For the 28kV voltage class, the impulse withstand (BIL) is 140kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

For the 15kV voltage class, the impulse withstand (BIL) is 95kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

For the 28kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV and phase-to-phase is 28kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 8.3kV and phase-to-phase is 14.4kV.

The K655L3 has a continuous current rating of 600 Amps for both 15kV and 28kV voltage classes.

The K655L3 kit meets ANSI/IEEE Standard 386, Latest Revision.

The K655L3 elbow kit splits one line into two on in, out, tap applications. Its insulating plugs also allow for capacitive voltage testing.
