The K655DLR is a 15/25kV, 600 Amp deadbreak elbow connector that incorporates the Elastimold® Direct Test System for isolation, testing, and grounding.

For the 15kV voltage class, the impulse withstand (BIL) is 95kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

The K655DLR has a momentary current rating of 25kA Symmetrical for 10 cycles, applicable to both 15kV and 28kV voltage classes.

To select the correct catalog number, determine the cable insulation diameter (W code), choose the connector material type, and select the proper compression lug code based on conductor size (X code).

Each kit contains an elbow connector housing, a copper compression lug, a stud, an insulated plug with cap, lubricant tubes, a cable adapter, and installation instructions.

For the 28kV voltage class, the impulse withstand (BIL) is 140kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

For the 28kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 8.3kV.
