Hotstick, Screwdriver (for mounting hardware)
Supplies needed:
Lubricant (supplied), Stainless steel mounting hardware (supplied), Insulated cap or elbow connector (for mating)
- Verify Package Contents and Inspect Parts
Ensure the package contains all specified contents and that all components are free from damage. Check for proper fit with cable and mating products. Read all installation instructions before starting.
- Lubricate the Interface
Apply the supplied lubricant or an ELASTIMOLD approved lubricant to the interface. Do not substitute lubricants, as others may be harmful to the product or its mating parts.
- Attach Hotstick and Mount the Plug
Attach a hotstick to the eyebolt of the stand-off plug carriage assembly. Slide the carriage assembly into the parking stand and rotate the eyebolt clockwise until the carriage assembly is snug against the apparatus surface. Remove the hotstick from the eyebolt.
- Secure the Stand-Off Plug
Use the supplied stainless steel mounting hardware to securely fasten the stand-off plug. Ensure it is properly aligned and firmly attached to the apparatus.
- Prepare for Connection
To prevent contamination of the interface when not in use, ensure the stand-off plug is always mated with an insulated cap (for 650SOP and K650SOP), a bushing converter, or an elbow connector.
