The K650RTW permits a 200A deadbreak or loadbreak tap-off from a 600A connector. It is a 15/25kV, 600 Amp Deadbreak Reducing Tap Well.

For the 28kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 16.2kV and the maximum phase-to-phase is 28kV.

For the 28kV voltage class, the AC one-minute withstand is 45kV.

For the 15kV voltage class, the AC one-minute withstand is 34kV.

To order the 15/25kV, 600A reducing tap well, specify the ordering number K650RTW.

Each kit contains one K650RTW Reducing Tap Well, one tube of lubricant 82-08, and one Installation Instruction IS-0230.

For the 28kV voltage class, the impulse withstand (BIL) is 140kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

For the 15kV voltage class, the impulse withstand (BIL) is 95kV (1.2 x 50 microsecond wave).

The K650RTW has a continuous current rating of 600 Amps for both 15kV and 28kV voltage classes.

For the 15kV voltage class, the maximum phase-to-ground operating voltage is 8.3kV and the maximum phase-to-phase is 14.4kV.
