Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Putty, Silicone sealant, Threaded caps
- Prepare the installation site
Ensure that all electrical power is disconnected and that wires are de-energized. Move or remove carpeting as necessary to access the concrete floor.
- Core the hole
Core a 3-inch diameter hole through the concrete floor. Insert the through-floor fitting into the hole and ensure the location bracket is flush with the concrete floor.
- Feed cables and secure the fitting
Feed the tele/data and power wires into the poke-through fitting. Fill the inside of the fitting with the supplied putty around all wires and press firmly into place.
- Install the power divider
Insert the power divider into the top of the poke-through device by sliding tabs into grooves. Ensure power wires are separated from tele/data cables.
- Seal and secure the base plate
Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the mounting plate underneath the base plate. Attach the base plate to the mounting plate with screws, ensuring a complete seal.
- Attach fittings and cover
Attach suitable fittings to the poke-through device. Plug all unused ports with threaded caps using thread sealer for water exclusion.
