How to Install the FPT445-SW-GRY Poke-Through Fitting
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the FPT445-SW-GRY poke-through fitting, ensuring proper wiring and sealing for electrical and data connections.

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Pliers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Putty, Silicone sealant, Gasket, Grommet
- Prepare the Installation Site
Ensure all electrical power is disconnected. Move or remove carpeting if necessary to access the floor. Core a 3" diameter hole through the floor for the poke-through fitting.
- Insert the Poke-Through Fitting
Insert the poke-through fitting into the hole, ensuring the locating bracket is flush with the concrete floor. Orient the plastic power tube as desired before securing with retainer clips.
- Wiring Connections
Feed power wires into the power side of the poke-through fitting, leaving a maximum of 4" of wire above the floor. Connect the power and ground wires to the device according to the National Electrical Code and local codes.
- Install Tele/Data Cables
Draw tele/data cables through the top of the poke-through device. Hook the cables around the notch in the side of the device and insert the power divider into the top, ensuring separation from power wires.
- Seal and Secure the Fitting
Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the mounting plate underneath the base plate to ensure scrub-water exclusion. Attach the base plate to the mounting plate with the provided screws.
- Final Assembly
Install the gasket between the cover and base plate. Cut holes in the gasket for tele/data cables if necessary. Attach the cover to the base plate with the mounting screws, ensuring a secure fit.
