Mounting screws, Wire connectors
- Turn off the power
Disconnect the power supply by removing the fuse or turning off the circuit breaker to ensure safety during installation.
- Mount the light fixture
Choose a mounting method: either attach the fixture to a rigid threaded conduit mounted on an outlet box or use a Red•Dot QuickPost Landscape Lighting system. Secure the fixture to the conduit.
- Connect the wiring
Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from the ends of the fixture wires and the supply wires. Connect the white wires together with a wire connector, then connect the black wires similarly. Attach the green ground wire to the grounding line. Ensure all connections are secure and push the wiring into the outlet box.
- Install the bulb
Remove the screws from the top of the light fixture and lift off the tiers. Remove the glass globe, then screw the appropriate bulb into the socket. Replace the globe and tiers, tightening the screws securely.
- Restore power and test
Turn the power back on and activate the light switch. If the light does not illuminate, check the bulb in another fixture. If the bulb works, turn off the power and review the wiring connections.
