This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the B228WHE-R lampholder and round box kit, ensuring proper wiring and assembly for optimal performance.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire stripper (WT2000)
Supplies needed:
Round outlet box, 1/2" round thread plugs, Lampholders, Reflector cover, Round three hole cover, Round gasket (large), Wire connectors, Circular gaskets (small), Cover screws (1/2" long)
- Prepare the outlet box
Coat the threads of the round plugs with sealant and install them in the unused holes of the outlet box. Ensure they are tightened firmly.
- Mount the outlet box
Feed the supply wire into the box and secure the box to the surface using 1" long screws.
- Connect the ground wire
Strip 1/2" of insulation from the ground wire and attach it under the ground screw in the outlet box. Tighten the screw without overtightening.
- Assemble the lampholders
Strip 1/2" of insulation from the ends of the lampholder wires, coat the threads of the lampholders with sealant, and screw them into the round three hole cover without overtightening.
- Wire the lampholders
Twist together all white wires and secure with a wire connector. Repeat for all black wires, ensuring no bare conductors are visible.
- Attach the cover
Align the cover with the gasket and outlet box, then secure it using the 1/2" long screws. Tighten the screws.
- Position the lampholders
Aim the lampholders downward, tighten the locking rings, and ensure they are positioned to facilitate drainage.
- Install the bulbs
Place a small circular gasket over the base of each bulb and screw the bulbs into the lampholder sockets without overtightening.
- Power on the circuit
Replace the fuse or turn ON the circuit. Test the light switch to ensure the unit illuminates. If it does not, check the bulbs and repeat the necessary steps.
