This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the Lampholder and Round Box Kit B228BRE-R, including mounting, wiring, and assembly.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws (1 inch), Wire connectors, Sealant
- Prepare the outlet box
Coat the threads of the round plugs with sealant and install them into the unused holes of the outlet box. Ensure they are tightened firmly.
- Mount the outlet box
Feed the supply wire into the box and secure the box to the surface using 1-inch long screws.
- Connect the ground wire
Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from the ground wire and attach it under the ground screw. Tighten the screw without overtightening.
- Wire the lampholders
Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from the ends of the lampholder wires. Connect all white wires together using a wire connector, then do the same for all black wires. Ensure no bare conductors are visible.
- Assemble the light fixture
Screw the lampholders into the cover without overtightening. Position the gasket behind the cover and align the screw holes before attaching the cover to the box.
- Install the bulbs
Place a small circular gasket over the base of each bulb and screw the bulbs into the lampholder sockets. Do not overtighten the bulbs.
- Test the installation
Replace the fuse or turn ON the circuit. Turn on the light switch to test if the unit illuminates. If it does not, check the bulbs and repeat the installation steps if necessary.
