- De-energize Before Installation
CAUTION: De-energize the electrical system completely before beginning any installation procedures to prevent electric shock or injury.
- Verify Connector and Conductor Size
Check the conductor size marked on the connector to ensure it is the correct connector for the conductor size you intend to use.
- Strip Conductor Insulation
Carefully strip the conductor insulation to the length of the connector barrel, avoiding any damage to the conductor strands during the process.
