Overview

The nVent XD303008E3PTSS4 Extreme Enclosure is a Type 4X stainless steel enclosure designed for harsh environments. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with an unpainted finish, it resists corrosion, extreme temperatures, moisture, chemicals, and UV exposure. The 30x30x8 inch dimensions provide versatile internal space for housing PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, or other automation and control components. The enclosure features a padlocking handle and lift-off, lockable door for tamper-proof access control. The zinc-plated internal components enhance corrosion resistance in demanding conditions. Designed for outdoor installations, industrial control panels, and remote telecom sites, this enclosure is part of nVent’s Extreme Environments Series. It supports field-installable UL Listed gasket kit replacements for maintenance without full enclosure replacement. For higher corrosion resistance, a 316L stainless steel version with stainless steel internal components and a silicone gasket is available.
