Overview
The exm 5500 ESY363112 is a safety disconnect enclosure constructed from 12-gauge 304 stainless steel with continuously welded seams. This enclosure meets stringent industry standards, including UL 508A Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X; CSA Type 3R, 12, 4, 4X; NEMA Type 3R, 12, 13, 4, 4X; and IEC 60529, IP66 (when equipped with appropriate components). Designed for flange-mounted variable depth operating handles, it features a flange trough collar and lifting eyes for ease of installation and handling. The enclosure includes removable doors with lift-off hinges, a three-point latching system, a master door with a screw defeater/padlock hasp, and a slave door with a padlock hasp. It also incorporates a mechanical interlock and provisions for fluorescent lighting and bonding/grounding studs. Please note: this model is not compatible with Class 9422 bracket mounted devices or Class 9422TG1/TG2.
