How to Install the VC251604X Cooling System
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and setting up the VC251604X cooling system for industrial cabinets.
Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Locknut, Cold air muffler, Ducting kit, Compressed air filter, Solenoid valve, Thermostat
- Cut the hole for installation
Cut a 1-15/16” (49 mm) hole in the enclosure to accommodate the VC251604X unit.
- Mount the VC251604X
Insert the VC251604X into the cut-out and secure it with the locknut to ensure it is firmly attached.
- Attach the cold air muffler
Connect the cold air muffler to the outlet of the VC251604X to direct the cooled air into the enclosure.
- Install the ducting kit
Perforate the ducting kit with several 1/8” holes and secure it to the interior of the enclosure to facilitate airflow.
- Connect the solenoid valve and thermostat
Wire the thermostat directly to the solenoid valve and install both as close as possible to the VC251604X, ensuring the temperature does not exceed 125°F (52°C).
- Connect the compressed air supply
Attach the compressed air supply line to the filter, ensuring it is properly filtered to remove water and dirt.
- Verify installation
Check all connections and ensure the VC251604X is installed in a vertical orientation with the silver cap facing up to maintain UL rating.
