Overview

The nVent SX7 Series Junction Box (SKU: SX7EKK8) is engineered for robust performance and safety in hazardous locations. Certified to UL 1203 and NEC 500-503, it holds NEMA 7, 9, 4X, and 3 ratings, providing superior protection against dust, water, and hazardous gases. This enclosure is ideal for Class I, Division 1 (Groups C, D), Class II (Groups E, F, G), and Class III environments. Its versatile design supports junction, pull, and splice applications, and it can house electrical devices like motor starters, circuit breakers, control stations, and terminal blocks. Constructed from a low-copper aluminum alloy with stainless steel bolts and screws, it offers exceptional durability and corrosion resistance. An integrated gasket o-ring ensures the Type 4X rating. For installation flexibility, it includes an internal mounting panel and screws. The enclosure is finished with a durable grey electrostatic polyester paint. An external earth screw facilitates grounding. While NPT threads for rigid conduit are optional, the body and cover can be drilled and threaded to customer specifications.
