The nVent SX7 Series Junction Box (SKU: SX7EGG6) is a UL 1203 listed enclosure designed for hazardous locations. Constructed from low-copper aluminum alloy with stainless steel bolts and screws, it offers superior corrosion resistance. This junction box meets NEMA Type 3, 4X, 7, and 9 ratings, certified for Class I, Division 1 (Groups C, D), Class II (Groups E, F, G), and Class III hazardous locations per NEC Articles 500–503. Its applications include junction, pull, and splice boxes, as well as enclosures for motor starters, circuit breakers, control stations, terminal blocks, pilot lights, switch racks, and panelboards. An integrated gasket o-ring ensures a Type 4X rating, protecting against dust and water. Features include an internal mounting panel, grey electrostatic polyester paint, and an external earth screw. NPT threads for rigid conduit are optional. The body and cover can be drilled and threaded to customer specifications.
