How to Install the S2MFEC Suspension System
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for mounting and wiring the S2MFEC suspension system, ensuring proper alignment and secure installation.
Estimated time: 1h
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Torque wrench, Wire strippers
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gaskets, Terminal connectors
- Mount the tube
Secure the tube in the desired vertical or horizontal position using the appropriate screws. Ensure the screws are tightened to a torque of 20 Nm.
- Align the tube
Adjust the tube alignment by slackening the screws and tightening them in the correct sequence to ensure there is no play. Check that the gap is a maximum of 4.4 mm.
- Connect the wiring
Strip the ends of the wires and connect them to the terminal connectors. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.
- Calibrate the system
Unscrew the cover and adjust the tilt angle limiter to the desired angle. Tighten the threaded sleeve to set the inclination moment as specified.
- Verify installation
Conduct a final inspection to ensure all screws are tightened, the tube is aligned, and the wiring is correctly connected. Test the system to confirm proper operation.
