- Choose Mounting Location
Select a mounting location for the RU-1-LP. It can be mounted beneath the PV array using the optional box bracket accessory or adjacent to the array using racking system accessories. Ensure the location is suitable for outdoor use and allows for easy access to the DC strings.
- Mount the Enclosure
Securely mount the RU-1-LP enclosure using the chosen accessory (optional box bracket or racking system accessories). Ensure the enclosure is firmly attached and oriented correctly for wiring access.
- Prepare DC Strings
Identify the DC strings that will be connected to the RU-1-LP. Ensure the conductors are stripped to the appropriate length for the screw clamp terminals. Refer to the specifications for wire size ranges.
- Connect DC Strings
Open the RU-1-LP enclosure. Connect each DC string to the designated screw clamp terminals. Use the provided 2-prong jumpers if combining strings within the box.
