This guide provides instructions for removing latches and reversing the door hinge side of the NS2169NS NET SERIES Enclosure, allowing for customization of door access.
Estimated time: 20m
Tools needed:
Screwdriver
- Prepare for Latch Removal
Before attempting to remove latches from the NS2169NS NET SERIES Enclosure, ensure the door is in a stable position, preferably open. Visually inspect the latches to identify the specific tabs that need to be compressed for their release.
- Remove Enclosure Latches
With the tabs identified, firmly compress them on each latch. While maintaining pressure on the tabs, carefully pull the latch assembly away from its mounting point on the enclosure frame until it is completely detached. Repeat for all latches.
- Reverse Door Hinge Side
To reverse the door's opening direction, first carefully detach the door from its existing hinges. Then, relocate the hinge pins or brackets to the corresponding mounting points on the opposite side of the enclosure frame. Finally, reattach the door to the newly positioned hinges, ensuring it swings freely and closes securely.
