How to Install the N160126G050 Air Conditioner
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the N160126G050 air conditioner, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Gasket kit
- Inspect the air conditioner
Check the air conditioner for any visible damage and ensure it is functioning correctly before installation. If it has been horizontal, allow it to stand upright for at least five minutes.
- Prepare the installation site
Using the cutout dimensions provided in the manual, prepare the air 'IN' and 'OUT' openings and the mounting hole pattern on the enclosure. Ensure adequate clearance for ventilation: 24" in front, 2" on the right side, 8" on the left side, and 6" on top.
- Install gaskets and mount the air conditioner
Apply the provided gaskets to the air conditioner. Securely mount the air conditioner to the enclosure using the provided mounting screws. Use the 'EZ' mount tabs to hold the unit in place while securing.
- Connect the power supply
Refer to the nameplate for electrical requirements. Connect the power cord or wire the unit to a properly grounded power supply. Ensure the circuit is fused according to the specifications in the design data.
- Test the air conditioner
After connecting the power, turn on the air conditioner and verify that the evaporator blower starts running. Allow it to operate for 5-10 minutes and check for any unusual noise or vibration.
