The nVent GL66 Series Wall-Mount Enclosure (SKU: MHC500200120) is a metric-dimensioned, 500x200x120mm steel enclosure designed for reliable protection of electrical and electronic components in harsh industrial environments. Constructed from 1.2mm, 1.5mm, or 2mm steel with a textured RAL 7035 light-gray polyester powder paint finish, it delivers superior corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. The enclosure meets IP66 and Type 4/12 IEC standards, featuring a seamless foam-in-place gasket and an external 90-degree body flange to channel away liquids, ensuring protection against water, dust, and chemical ingress. The GL66 includes a full-height galvanized steel back panel and supports a wide range of internal accessories such as mounting panels, accessory rails, and gland plates for scalable component mounting. Its reversible door with sealed hinges and quarter-turn latch (3mm double-bit insert) provides secure, tamper-resistant closure. Bonding provisions on the door and grounding studs on the body ensure safe electrical grounding. Pre-cut gland plate openings in the enclosure bottom facilitate easy cable entry. The enclosure is hinged on the right side with removable hinge pins for convenient installation and maintenance.
