How to Install the HG1000403 Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HG1000403 filter fan into an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.

Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Multimeter
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure and cut out the hole using the appropriate size for the HG1000403 model.
- Insert the filter fan
Deburr the cutting edge and insert the filter fan into the opening until all four corners snap and lock into place.
- Secure the filter fan
If the enclosure material thickness is between 0.10 (2.5 mm) and 0.14 (3.5 mm), install mounting fasteners. For thickness greater than 0.14 (3.5 mm), ensure fasteners are used to maintain the IP rating.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided on page 5 of the manual to connect the filter fan to the power supply.
- Verify installation
Ensure the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 (178 mm) from any obstruction.
