How to Install the HF Filter Fan
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing the HF Filter Fan into an enclosure, ensuring proper mounting and wiring.

Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Terminal connectors, Cutout template
- Prepare the enclosure
Apply the cutout template to the desired location on the side of the enclosure. Ensure the area is clear of internal components before cutting.
- Cut the opening
Using the appropriate tool, cut the hole in the enclosure according to the template specifications. Deburr the cutting edge to avoid sharp edges.
- Insert the fan or grille
Insert the filter fan or grille into the cutout until all four corners snap and lock into place. If the enclosure material is thicker than 0.14 inches, install mounting fasteners.
- Install mounting fasteners
If required, remove the grille by pulling it from the top at a 45° angle, then from the bottom. Drill out the mounting holes in the filter housing if necessary, and torque fasteners to 20-25 in-lbs.
- Verify clearance
Ensure that the installed filter fan has a minimum clearance of 7.00 inches from any obstruction to allow for proper airflow.
- Wire the filter fan
Follow the wiring diagrams provided in the manual for your specific model to connect the filter fan to the power supply.
- Test the installation
