- Align Wireway Sections
Position two sections of the Type 1 Wireway, ensuring the snap connect features are correctly aligned for engagement.
- Engage Snap Connect Feature
Push the wireway sections firmly together until the first side of the snap connect feature audibly clicks into place, indicating an initial secure connection.
- Fully Secure Snap Connection
Continue applying pressure to fully engage the snap connection, listening for a second click to confirm both sides of the feature are firmly joined and the sections are flush.
- Fasten Wireway Sections
Insert the HEX 10-32X.250 screws into the designated fastening holes on the connected wireway sections. Tighten these screws to a torque of 4.5 ± 0.5 N·M [40 ± 4.0 LBF·IN] to permanently secure the connection.
- Install Internal Components
Place or route any necessary electrical components, wires, or cables inside the assembled wireway sections as required for your application.
- Secure Wireway Cover or Additional Section
Attach and secure the wireway cover or an additional wireway section using the HEX 10-32X.250 screws, #10 lock washers, and HEX 10-32 nuts. Tighten these fasteners to a torque of 4.5 ± 0.5 N·M [40 ± 4.0 LBF·IN].
