How to Install the F66LC Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the F66LC wireway system, ensuring proper assembly and sealing for optimal performance.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Terminal connectors, Sealant

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the installation details.

  2. Seal the joints

After installing the wires, seal each joint between sections using either the LSGQR fitting method or the 90° angle sealing plate method as described in the installation instructions.

  3. Install the box entries

Make a cutout in the control enclosure for the wireway entry, position the box connector and gasket inside, and install a 90° angle sealing plate to ensure a secure fit.

  4. Adjust the telescope fitting

Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length before securing it with screws.

  5. Anchor the telescope fitting

Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting, then install .25−20x.5 screws with cap nuts and lockwashers to secure the fitting.

  6. Calibrate the wireway

Ensure that all sections are level and securely fastened, and verify that the wireway is properly grounded if applicable.
