How to Install the F44X Lay-In Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the F44X Lay-In Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and sealing for effective cable management.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Wire connectors

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Seal the joints

After installing the wires, seal each joint between the sections using either the LSGQR fitting method or the 90° angle sealing plate method, ensuring all gaskets are properly positioned.

  3. Install box entries

Make a cutout in the control enclosure as specified, position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, and install a sealing plate to secure the connection.

  4. Adjust telescope fitting

Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting body, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length before securing with screws.

  5. Anchor the telescope fitting

If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting, then install screws and cap nuts to secure.

  6. Calibrate the wireway

Ensure that all sections are level and securely fastened, and verify that the wireway is properly grounded if required.
