How to Install the F1212X Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the F1212X wireway system, ensuring proper assembly and sealing.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Wire connectors

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Seal the joints

After installing the wires, seal each joint between sections using either the LSGQR fitting method or the 90° angle sealing plate method, ensuring proper gasket visibility.

  3. Install box entries

Make a cutout in the enclosure for the wireway entry, position the box connector and gasket inside, and install a 90° angle sealing plate to secure the connection.

  4. Adjust telescope fitting

Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length before securing it with screws.

  5. Anchor telescope fitting

If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting, then install screws and cap nuts.

  6. Calibrate the wireway

Ensure all sections are level and securely fastened, and verify that all gaskets are properly seated to prevent leaks.
