RAF10IG-X
The right angle fitting is a one-piece Surface Raceway fitting designed to transition your raceway around a corner while maintaining a 1" bend radius. It is made to be used with the LD10 raceway, in applications up to 50 V. It is a snap-on installation and measures 2.5 in length. It is constructed with ABS plastic, meets TIA/EIA, and is International Gray. How to Install the F1010X Lay-In Wireway
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the F1010X Lay-In Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and sealing for optimal performance.
Estimated time: 45m
Tools needed:
Screwdriver, Wire strippers, Drill, Wrench
Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Gaskets, Terminal connectors, 90° angle sealing plates
- Assemble the wireway sections
Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.
- Seal the joints
For joints between lay-in sections, position the LSGQR fitting, leaving out the top flange screw on the hinge side. Install the fitting with a shoulder bolt through the flange and ensure gaskets are visible from above.
- Install box entries
Make a cutout in the control enclosure for the wireway entry. Position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, then install a 90° angle sealing plate as described in the sealing methods.
- Adjust telescope fitting
Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting. Insert the body into the straight section and adjust to the desired length, ensuring the gasket is properly seated.
- Anchor the telescope fitting
If the telescope fitting is used vertically, drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.
- Calibrate the wireway
After installation, verify that all sections are securely fastened and that the wireway is level. Use a multimeter to check for continuity if the wireway is to be used for grounding.
