How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and connection.

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Lockwashers

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

    Assemble the parts of the telescope fitting in the correct order, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned against the flange.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

    Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides of the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Cut the wireway to length

    Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring to leave enough for the flange and gaskets. Grind off any burrs and sharp edges.

  5. Install swivel nipples

    Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in order. Secure them with screws and nuts, ensuring all components are tightly fastened.

  6. Make box entries

    Cut out the necessary openings in the enclosure for box entries. Position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, and align another gasket between the wireway and the enclosure.

  7. Install hangers
