How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and connections.

Screwdriver, Drill, Wire strippers

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Terminal connectors, Cap nuts, Lockwashers

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

    Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert the body into the straight section, adjust to the desired length, and secure with a compression ring and screws.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

    Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting, then install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside, securing with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Install swivel nipples

    Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in order, then secure with clips, screws, and nuts.

  5. Make box entries

    Cut out the required openings in the enclosure for box entries, position the connector flange and gasket inside, and secure the assembly with screws and nuts.

  6. Verify grounding continuity

    Ensure that the wireway is properly grounded by checking for continuity across all connections, especially at the telescope fitting.
