How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and connection.

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Lockwashers

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

    Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert it into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly seated against the flange.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

    Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws from the outside and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Cut the wireway to length

    Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring a square cut. Weld an extra flange to the body and grind off any sharp edges.

  5. Install the swivel nipple

    Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in order. Secure with clips, screws, and nuts.

  6. Make box entries

    Cut out the necessary openings in the enclosure as shown in the details. Position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, ensuring proper alignment.

  7. Install hangers

    Assemble the hangers according to the provided details and attach them to the wireway flanges in the desired positions.
