How to Install the Feed-Through Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and configuring the Feed-Through Wireway, ensuring proper assembly and secure connections.

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Lockwashers

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

    Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them using screws and nuts as shown in the assembly details.

  2. Install the telescope fitting

    Assemble the telescope fitting parts in the correct order, insert the body into the straight section, and adjust to the desired length. Ensure the gasket is properly positioned and secure it with the compression ring and screws.

  3. Anchor the telescope fitting

    Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the straight section and telescope fitting at the desired extension. Install .25−20x.5 screws through the holes and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  4. Cut the wireway to length

    Cut the wireway body to the desired length, ensuring a square cut. Weld an extra flange to the body and grind off any sharp edges.

  5. Install the swivel nipple

    Position the wireway section, flange gasket, swivel ring, and swivel nipple in the correct order. Secure the assembly with screws and nuts.

  6. Make box entries

    Cut out the necessary openings in the control enclosure for the box connector. Position the connector and gasket inside the enclosure, and secure the wireway section to the outside with another gasket.

  7. Install hangers

    Assemble the hangers as shown in the installation details and attach them to the wireway flanges in the desired positions.
