Overview

The nVent F22LE9KOKT is a high-quality 90-degree transposition section elbow designed for industrial wireway applications. Manufactured by nVent, a trusted leader in electrical enclosure and connection solutions, this elbow (SKU: F22LE9KOKT) facilitates a counterclockwise rotation of your wireway run by precisely 90 degrees while crucially maintaining the convenient lay-in feature. This design is indispensable when routing cables and conduits around obstacles or changing direction in complex electrical installations. Engineered from durable steel with a gray finish, this transposition elbow ensures robust protection for your electrical conductors. Its 2.50x2.50 inch dimensions are optimized for compatibility with standard nVent wireway systems, providing a seamless integration into existing or new infrastructure. The lay-in hinged-cover design simplifies installation and maintenance, allowing for easy access to conductors without the need to disconnect them. This feature significantly reduces downtime and labor costs, making it a preferred choice for electricians and system integrators. Key applications for the nVent F22LE9KOKT include: * **Industrial Control Panels:** Directing wire and cable runs within complex control cabinets. * **Machine Tool Wiring:** Navigating tight spaces and changing directions on automated machinery. * **Data Centers:** Managing network cabling and power distribution efficiently. * **Manufacturing Facilities:** Ensuring organized and protected routing of electrical power and control signals. * **Commercial Buildings:** Facilitating efficient cable management in raised floors and ceiling plenums. The transposition elbow's ability to rotate the open side of the wireway run by 90 degrees counterclockwise is a critical design element. This allows for flexible routing options, enabling installers to adapt to the specific layout requirements of any project. The hinged cover provides secure closure, protecting the conductors from environmental contaminants and physical damage, while the lay-in capability ensures that wires can be easily inserted and removed, a significant advantage during initial setup, modifications, or troubleshooting. The robust steel construction guarantees longevity and resistance to harsh industrial environments. Trust nVent for reliable and innovative wire management solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and maintainability in your electrical installations. The UNSPSC code for this product is 39131710, and it is proudly manufactured in the USA.

How to Install the Lay-In Wireway

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for installing and sealing a Lay-In Wireway for effective cable management.

Estimated time: 1h

Tools needed:

Screwdriver, Drill, Wrench

Supplies needed:

Mounting screws, Gaskets, Nuts, Sealing plates

  1. Assemble the wireway sections

Place a gasket between the flanges of the wireway sections and secure them with screws and nuts as shown in the installation details.

  2. Seal the joints

For joints between lay-in sections, position the LSGQR fitting and install it with a shoulder bolt, ensuring gaskets are visible from above. Rotate the cam to lock the position.

  3. Install box entries

Make a cutout in the enclosure for the wireway entry. Position the box connector and gasket inside the enclosure, then install a sealing plate as described in the installation details.

  4. Adjust telescope fitting

Assemble the compression ring, gasket, and retainer on the telescope fitting. Insert it into the straight section and adjust to the desired length.

  5. Anchor the telescope fitting

Drill .25 inch diameter holes through the sides and bottom of the straight section and telescope fitting. Install .25−20x.5 screws through the holes and secure with cap nuts and lockwashers.

  6. Calibrate the wireway

Ensure that the wireway is level and securely mounted. Check all connections and seals to confirm they are tight and properly aligned.
