Supplies needed:
Mounting screws, Zinc-based antioxidant, Telecommunications Equipment Bonding Conductor (TEBC)
- Locate the mounting area
Identify the appropriate location on the equipment rack where the grounding busbar will be mounted.
- Prepare the mounting area
Remove all paint, oxidation, or debris from the mounting area to ensure a clean surface for installation.
- Apply antioxidant
Coat the bare metal mounting areas with a zinc-based antioxidant to prevent corrosion.
- Mount the grounding busbar
Secure the DG72 grounding busbar to the equipment rack using the appropriate mounting hardware.
- Bond the busbar
Connect the rack grounding busbar to the Telecommunications Equipment Bonding Conductor (TEBC). If using insulators, ensure a separate bonding connection is made from the equipment rack to the TEBC.
